Starting off this year with multiple back surgeries isn’t the most exciting way to welcome 2016. That goes especially for Tiger Woods. Since the last time he played, and won, it’s probably safe to assume he’s ready to get back on the course in our very own beautiful Augusta National Golf Course.

Since his surgeries, he has attended events. No solid wins for him, but progress is being made…and noticed. There were a brief few weeks where he stayed out of the spotlight, claiming to be vulnerable due to setbacks from his surgeries earlier this year.

Fortunately, just a few days ago he attended the Hero World Challenge. Again, no win, but the scores were pretty decent.

Seeing all of Tiger’s progress, do you think he’ll grace the Garden City for next year’s Masters Tournament?  Maybe what he said might help you decide:  “It feels good to be back out here playing again, competing and trying to beat these, the best players in the world. I missed it. I’ve had some very, very difficult times, and have some great friends that have helped me over the times to get me to this point, and I’m just so thankful to be back here playing again.”

Hmm. It sounds pretty promising, and he sounds determined. I guess we’ll just have to wait a little bit longer!
