Last month we told you some of the best places to visit in Augusta for food, drinks and nightlife. This month, we’re sharing with you the top three [public] golf courses you should try to make time for during your stay in Augusta.

According to the Best of Augusta 2016, here are the top three golf clubs that you can enjoy!

Forest Hills Golf Club

This particular golf course came in first place, although for many reasons, probably for its remarkable history of now-renowned golfers, it’s stunning design by a legendary course designer and affordable rates. But you may want to go ahead and book a tee time; they’re sure to fill up quickly!

Jones Creak Golf Club

Coming in second place, Jones Creek is another fantastic golf club for those who have a great passion for the sport. The course is home to beautiful azaleas, dogwood trees, and “some of the finest Tif Eagle Bermuda greens in the area.”

This is another course you may want to go ahead and pencil in if you’re looking to hit the green during the week. Make your reservations here!

The River Club

Head across the Savannah River, and you’ll find this gem in North Augusta, South Carolina. This semi-private course landed in third place, which is still pretty awesome. As you play each hole, you have the view of beautiful Downtown Augusta as well as the peaceful sounds of the river. Since it’s opening in 1998, it has continuously enhanced its reputation by making various improvements…even after being named a top five new course nationally by Golf Digest.

And of course, go ahead and make a mark on yours and their calendar for Masters Week!
